Feesable™ is about to change.
The Feesable website is changing its address and, as a result, the software used by Correspondents and by Clubs to send and retrieve invoices to this website will also need to change.
The changes are being co-ordinated and funded by the International Group of P&I Clubs in order to modernise and improve the Feesable service.
How do these changes affect you?
Clubs have already been instructed on how to create a second instance of the Club Receiver software on the same workstation that they currently use for receiving Feesable invoices. This will eventually give Clubs the ability to retrieve invoices from both the old and new Feesable systems until such time that the old Feesable system is decommissioned.
This second instance currently replicates the current day process and retrieves invoices from the old Feesable repository. From week beginning June 11th, each Club will be issued with the latest Club Receiver software which is to be used with the newly created instance. Once this is shown to be functioning correctly, each Club will then be advised on how the new instance can be made to retrieve invoices from the new repository.
Once we are sure all of the Clubs have the ability to receive invoices from the new Feesable repository, we will begin to invite Correspondents to register on the new Feesable website. Once their registration has been approved, they will then be instructed on how to obtain and install the new software for Correspondents onto their workstation. As with the current Feesable processing, Correspondents will have a choice of two types of software for sending in their invoices. There is an Excel based solution and DotNet based solution, the latter of which incorporates the use of file attachments.
All Correspondents will need to re-register to be able to use the new Feesable system but don’t worry, you will be able to continue using the old Feesable system until you have installed the new Feesable software.
Registration for the new system is quick and easy. All Correspondents will need to use their e-mail address as their new Username. The approval of your registration will be made by one of the P and I Clubs so you will need to select a familiar Club to authorise your request. When the club has authorised your request you will be sent an e-mail with your new password.
Correspondent registration will be managed via a phased approach across several weeks i.e. we won’t be expecting all Correspondents to register on the same day! Each Correspondent will receive an invitation to register. The invitation will indicate when they should register with the new Feesable system. Until then, please continue to use the old system.
Once all Correspondents are registered with the new Feesable system we will look to decommission the old system.
